In 2004 ARoS received Per Kirkeby's private archive with several thousand effects. 

 

The archive comprises notebooks, scrapbooks, sketches of works of sculpture and architecture, newspaper clips, the artist's own books, photos/negatives, VHS-tapes, drawings, and much more.

The Archive gave an inspiring insight into the artist's general work and artistic universe.
