The special exhibition Michael Kvium – FOOLS presented more than 200 individual paintings from Kvium’s ongoing series.

The layout of the gallery was a 170-metre-long structure designed as a continuous curving wall, growing narrower and opening up by turns, miming Kvium’s familiar caricatured ear and reflecting the artist’s interest in man’s darkest mind.

 

The design of the exhibition led the visitor on his way out of the gallery to meet other visitors on their way into the architectural framework, rising the question: who is the fool?
