The special exhibition A New Dynasty – Created in China focused on the creative environment of the Chinese contemporary art scene represented by artists of different generations.

Unfolding how these in each their individual media related to China’s millennia-old history, cultural heritage, social life, mentality, traditional craftmanship and philosophy, the subtitle of the presentation, Created in China, respectfully underlined the creativity of one of the world’s oldest cultures.

​

The exhibition team counted five  curators from China, Norway, and Denmark, among these the initiator of the project, Erlend G. Høyersten, Director at ARoS Aarhus Art Museum.
